The Commissionerate Police arrested the actor from his Hanspal house on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar in a cheating case.The arrest was made following non-bailable warrants (NBWs) against him and his wife by court for giving fraud check to a mineral trader. The court had ordered them to be present personally before it. But they did not oblige the court. So the NBWs were issued against them.As said, Pupinder had taken 13lakhs loan from mineral trader for the making of a movie. He had given 5 cheques from which 3 got bounced so that mineral trader put a case against Pupinder and his wife. Now Pupinder got arrested by police but police still searching for his wife. From the statement of Pupinder this matter has already been settled out of the court . He further stated the mines trader will withdraw the case on Tuesday.Now Pupinder was granted bail by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court.
