Sistala Sasthi is an auspicious festival in Odisha. This year it is falling on 29th of May.On the first day people celebrate the wedding festival of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati according to all rituals. The next Day is Sitala Sasthi Jatra. On a cart or vimaan ,the idols of lord Shiva and Parvati placed and do procession in whole town.The Famous Sistal Sasthi Jatya is held at various places in Odisha.After a lots of Struggle Parvati won the heart of Shiva so for remember that day the People are celebrating this festival.
